Sew your own swimming suit with this modest bathing suit pattern that keeps you covered but is fitted enough to let you swim freely.
Pattern includes instructions how to make a shelf bra insert. attached leggings. and a lightly gathered sarong skirt with a knotted tie. Bathing suit will be stretchy.
Materials needed:
- Use 4-way stretch swimsuit fabric that’s 80% nylon. 20% spandex for best results. (See chart below for the yardage needed)
- 100% nylon fabric for lining
- Poly laminated foam fabric for cups
- Elastic that’s designed for bathing suits
